Why develop projects for nutritional accompaniment and access to clean water?
43% of the children between 0 and 12 years old that are part of our programs in Venezuela and Colombia present some degree of malnutrition.
According to the NGO Cáritas, 35% of children in Venezuela are severely malnourished. While in Sub-Saharan Africa the rate is 23.8%. Severe child malnutrition increased 100% in 14 states in Venezuela. This is due to the fact that since 2018, a family requires 98 minimum wages to cover their basic food expenses.
3 Nutritional accompaniment programs Established with partner organizations in Venezuela and Colombia Baseline measurement to evaluate the nutritional status of our beneficiaries.

All our programs have one of our main pillars, which is the empowerment of the community where we develop our programs.
We believe it is important to go beyond the traditional approaches to solving a humanitarian crisis, in order to improve the well being, health and nutrition among children and young people.
